The Don LaFontaine Voice-Over Lab at the SAG Foundation
In Memory of Don LaFontaine, a wonderful client, and I am honored to say, a true friend indeed...

George has generously agreed to donate his valuable time and expertise to design this studio for the Screen Actors Guild Foundation in memory of his friend, Don LaFontaine.
The Don LaFontaine Voice-Over Lab will feature a fully equipped sound studio and classroom. It is anticipated that the Lab will become a center fo rthe voice-over community, where all facets of voice-over can meet, study, and inspire.
The Sound Studio will feature two state-of-the-art recording booths, allowing aspiring voice-over actors to work on their craft, record auditions, or work on demos, all at no cost.
The Classroom will be where some of the best voice-over artists in the world will teach.
If you'd like more information on how you can support the on-going funding of this incredible contribution to the voice-acting community, please visit the DLF Outreach page at SAG Foundation.

Celebration of Life Tribute
Now Available on DVD!!
ALL proceeds go to worthy causes benefiting the voice over community.
Eight days after his passing on September 1, 2008, over 800 people came together to celebrate the man that many feel was the greatest voiceover artist in history. Filmed live before a standing room only crowd at the Writer’s Guild Theater in Beverly Hills, California, this DVD represents a permanent record of that event - nearly 2 ½ hours of musical, video and spoken tributes to “The Voice”… Don LaFontaine.
For all his considerable talent, Don LaFontaine was much more than “the announcer guy from the movies”. To those that knew him, worked with him and loved him, he was an extremely generous person and a committed family man. His accomplishments away from the microphone became almost as legendary as his achievements behind one. A major force in his profession, he became a mentor to many of today’s top voiceover talents and an unfailing supporter of almost anyone he met who aspired to do the same. In a career that spanned more than 40 years, his legacy will not soon be forgotten.
ALL of the proceeds from the sale of this DVD will go to benefit worthy causes in the voiceover community and beyond.
A minimum donation of $25 is required (which includes shipping). Larger contributions are, of course, appreciated and welcome.
